De appartementencomplexen bieden een plek om fijn te wonen en energiezuinig te leven. Door duurzame oplossingen profiteren de bewoners van lage energiekosten.
De bewoners van Steengoed hebben een (licht) verstandelijke beperking, eventueel met autisme. Samen met zorgverlener Woondroomzorg is er gezorgd voor een veilige omgeving.
Stichting Steengoed heeft de ANBI (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instellingen) status. Hierdoor wordt ieder bedrag dat u schenkt geheel besteed aan de Stichting.

The residents of Steengoed have a (mild) intellectual disability, possibly with autism. Together with care provider Woondroomzorg, a safe environment has been provided and the help that is sometimes needed is provided, but always in a way in which the residents retain their own responsibility and freedom.
Feeling at home; own place where the resident feels safe and is allowed to participate in shared moments but is not obliged to do so. The atmosphere in the shared spaces/moments is inviting, making it easy to enter.
